3W Cool White High Luminance LED attached to a 19.8mm x 1.6mm star PCB.

This premium power LED uses a 45 Mil Bridgelux BXCE chip emitting a powerful cool white light (6500- 7500k) with a focus of power towards the blue wavelengths in the colour spectrum. This LED comes with a 120 degree lens as standard. 

Particularly popular for use in aquarium lighting, grow lights and domestic/architectural lighting. , this versatile and powerful LED boasts an impressive 260 lumens when driven at maximum power.  However due to the high specification of the Bridgelux chips, superior quality parts and assembly conditions these 3W LEDs retain an excellent level of efficiency even at higher drive currents. 

Please note that in order to attain optimal performance, efficiency and lifespan this component must be mounted onto an aluminium or copper heat sink with a thermal glue/compound between the rear of the PCB. Active fan cooling is highly recommended particularly at higher drive currents.
