1W Ultraviolet UV High Power LED for PCB soldering.

This high specification industrial LED uses a large 45 Mil EPILED brand name chip which due to its larger size produces top performance compared to most 1W LEDs in the marketplace.

The chip is housed in high thermal resistance plastic allowing for safe over soldering and passes through a 120° non-degrading silica lens. Please kindly note that this product produces largely invisible ultraviolet light. Please note, if you require a visible violet LED please consider our Violet 410-420nm product. 

As with all high power LEDs this product must be mounted onto an aluminium or copper heat sink with a thermal glue/compound between the rear of the PCB used and the heat sink surface. This is crucial to attain optimal performance, efficiency and lifespan in any LED application.  Active fan cooling is highly recommended particularly at higher drive currents.
