1W Daylight White High Luminance LED attached to a 20mm aluminium star PCB. This LED uses a 45 Mil Bridgelux BXCE chip giving a close representation of natural daylight at a colour temperature of 5500-6000k.
Popular for use in photographic, domestic and therapeutic (SAD) lighting, this versatile and powerful LED boasts an impressive 150 lumens when driven at 1 watt. However due to the superior build quality and high specification of the Bridgelux chips these 1W LEDs retain an excellent level of efficiency even at higher drive currents.
Please note that in order to attain optimal performance, efficiency and lifespan this component must be mounted onto an aluminium or copper heat sink with a thermal glue/compound between the rear of the PCB. Active fan cooling is highly recommended particularly at higher drive currents.
