1W Bright Blue LED (EPILED 460nm) mounted to a 19.8mm x 1.6mm aluminium PCB star. This premium LED uses a 42 Mil EPILED chip producing a powerful blue beam peaking at 460nm. As with all our standard LEDs this component comes fitted with a crystal clear lens achieving beam angle of 120°.

Extremely common for use in aquatic, grow lights and stage lighting, this versatile and powerful LED produces an impressive 25 lumens of pure blue light when driven at maximum power.  Due to the superior build quality and high specification of the EPILED chips these 1W LEDs retain an excellent level of efficiency even at higher drive currents. 

In order to attain optimal performance, efficiency and lifespan this component must be mounted onto an aluminium or copper heat sink with a thermal glue/compound between the rear of the PCB. Active fan cooling is highly recommended particularly at higher drive currents.
