1W Amber/Orange high power LED for soldering to printed circuit board. This 1W LED uses a 38 Mil EPILED chip achieving a powerful orange/amber beam peaking between 595-610nm and with 120° beam lens. 

A very popular choice for inclusion in LED grow lights, automotive and signalling applications, this LED boasts an impressive 60 lumens when driven at maximum power. Due to the superior build quality and high specification of the EPILED chips this component retains an excellent level of efficiency even at higher drive currents. 

Please note that all power LEDs  should be mounted onto an aluminium or copper heat sink with a thermal compound or glue used between the rear of the LED and the heat sink surface. This thermal transfer is crucial to attain optimal optical performance, efficiency and a complete lifespan in any LED application. Given that overheating can cause a decrease in light output active cooling is highly recommended particularly at higher drive currents.
