1W Bright Red LED (EPILED 620-630nm) -

1W High Power Bright Red LED. This high quality LED uses a 42 Mil EPILED chip, producing a pure red light with a beam angle of 120° and a wavelength peaking at 630nm. 

Perfect for use in aquatic, horticultural and industrial lighting, this versatile and powerful LED produces an impressive 50 lumens of pure red light when driven at maximum power.  Due to the superior build quality and high specification of the EPILED chips these 1W LEDs retain an excellent level of efficiency even at higher drive currents. 

In order to attain optimal performance, efficiency and lifespan this component must be mounted onto an aluminium or copper heat sink with a thermal glue/compound between the rear of the PCB. Even for 1W models active fan cooling is highly recommended particularly at higher drive currents.
