10W Amber LED (EPILED 595-610nm)

10 Watt High Power Orange / Amber LED COB. This high end LED uses a 10 x 42 Mil EPILED brand name chips, producing an intense orange 120° beam, with a wavelength peaking between 595-610nm.
Popular for use in aquariums, grow lights and signalling applications, this versatile and powerful LED produces an impressive 600 lumens when driven at maximum power, yet retains an excellent level of efficiency even at higher driver currents.
As with all high power LEDs this component must be mounted onto an aluminium or copper heat sink with a thermal glue/compound between the rear of the PCB used and the heat sink. Excellent thermal transfer is essential to achieve optimal performance, efficiency and lifespan in any power LED array. Active fan cooling is highly recommended particularly at higher drive currents.
For convenience the general electrical and optical characteristics are listed below. For full manufacturers' specification please consult the datasheet provided here.
