10W Super Cool White LED (Bridgelux 15000 - 25000k)
10 Watt High Power Super Cool White LED COB on aluminium backplate. This high luminance LED uses a 9 x 45 Mil Bridgelux BXCE chips at a colour temperature of 15000-25000k, achieving a super cool white light with a heavy focus of spectral power in the blue and blue/violet wavelengths.
Unquestionably the most popular colour temperature for marine aquatic applications, as well as being incredibly useful for vegetative horticultural lighting and general industrial/domestic lighting. This versatile and powerful LED boasts an impressive 990 lumens when driven at maximum power, yet due to high specification of the Bridgelux chips and superior build quality this COB retains a high level of efficiency even at higher currents.
As with all high power LEDs this component must be mounted onto an aluminium or copper heat sink with a thermal glue/compound between the rear of the LED and the heat sink surface. This is crucial to attain optimal performance, efficiency and lifespan. Active fan cooling is highly recommended particularly at higher drive currents.
