3W Bright Blue High Power LED mounted on a 19.8mm aluminium PCB star. This premium LED uses a 45 Mil EPILED chip, producing a powerful bright blue light (120° beam angle), with a wavelength peaking at 460nm.
Popular for use in aquatic LED lights, horticultural lamps and stage lighting, this versatile and powerful LED boasts an impressive 50 lumens of pure blue light when driven at maximum power. Due to the superior build quality and high specification of the EPILED chip these 3 watt LEDs retain an excellent level of efficiency even at higher drive currents.
As with all high power LEDs this component must be mounted onto an aluminium or copper heat sink with a thermal glue/compound between the rear of the PCB used and the heat sink surface. This is essential in achieving optimal performance, efficiency and lifespan in any LED applications. We highly recommend using active fan cooling wherever possible.
